Stage Manager Checklist

Here are checklists of things to check on / set up for each weekend…

Thursday:

  1. Go over service order with tech director
  2. Set out mics for praise team
  3. turn on sound system
  4. Turn on moving light breaker
  5. turn on TVs facing the stage
  6. Post service order in the green room
  7. Stock green room fridge with water
  8. Check gaffing and walkways to ensure safety
  9. Preset and mark any props that will be used in the weekend services
  10. Mark lighting positions for solos, dramas, etc
  11. Be available to worship leader / tech director for special tasks

Saturday / Setup:

  1. Turn on Sound system
  2. Change Batteries in wireless mics
  3. Put out wireless mics for praise team
  4. Check pastor’s wireless
  5. Turn on TVs facing stage
  6. Turn on worship leaders wireless in-ear rack (on drum deck)
  7. Turn on moving light breaker
  8. Turn on all rope lights / night lights / set up green room
  9. Set out water bottle for Pastor

Saturday Tear Down:

  1. Put away wireless mics
  2. Turn off wireless in-ear rack
  3. Coordinate with Lighting to shut off moving light breaker
  4. Coordinate with Sound to shut off sound system
  5. turn off all rope lights / night lights / green room
  6. Put away any props for the weekend

Sunday Setup:

  1. Turn on Sound system
  2. Check Batteries in wireless mics
  3. Put out wireless mics for praise team
  4. Check pastor’s wireless
  5. Turn on TVs facing stage
  6. Turn on worship leaders wireless in-ear rack (on drum deck)
  7. Turn on moving light breaker
  8. Turn on all rope lights / night lights / set up green room
  9. Set out water bottle for Pastor

Sunday Tear Down:

  1. Put away wireless mics
  2. Turn off wireless in-ear rack
  3. Coordinate with Lighting to shut off moving light breaker
  4. Coordinate with Sound to shut off sound system
  5. turn off all rope lights / night lights / green room
  6. Put away any props for the weekend.
  7. Place trash cans on the stage (SL, SR, Green Room, Amp Room)
